The MA/CMA/LPN is the first point of care in the physician office. This position assists the physician with patient procedures, injections, phone information, patient triage and may perform routine laboratory tests and phlebotomy. This individual works concurrently with the provider to achieve quality outcomes for the patients in all age groups as defined by the area of the practice.
Duties include but not limited to: vitals, review of systems, scheduling test with other departments, administering injections, updating medications, assist with procedures performed in the office setting.
Primarily back office, may include front office and or assisting in other offices as needed.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to multitask and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
Required:
MA/CMA - Certificate of completion from accredited school or 10 years of experience.
LPN - Must have active Indiana LPN license.
Must maintain American Heart Association BLS
